Machine Gunners Course vice Platoon Support Weapons Course and no longer manditory.

Primary Leadership Qualification and PLQ module 6 are now the only course qualifications for a MCpl

[edit] infantry requirements for MCpl

The policy now is that a corporal in the infantry must now have the DP2A, which is the Platoon Support Weapons Course, prior to attending PLQ mod 6(Inf). The infantry has its own mod 6, which basically contains the same instruction and evaluations, with some additions, but with more critical requirements in each evaluation. The 6A is not included in this course as it was in th ISCCourse, and the 6A indeed no longer exists at all.
