Merged with duplicate article (my bad) Macina Empire today. I've kept Davidson's info on the empire's ending date, capital, and defeat by Umar Tall as I found confirmation of them at: 1 and [membres.lycos.fr/anthropa/A.Mayor.html 2]. --Dvyost 7 July 2005 16:18 (UTC)
[edit] Peul & Fula
I've changed Peul, which is French, to Fula. No problem with French en français, but it confuses readers in English to have different terms for the same group. If we use a term from another language the natural choice would be to use the Fulfulde/Pulaar term, Fulɓe. A12n 22:37, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
