[edit] Grammar

I recommend that the copy from the original definition of "Masonite" be scrutinized for grammatical errors.

[edit] Merger with Hardboard

I would consider these two articles, although brief, to be rather segregated to one another. The unique name of masonite stems from the original construction methods and the person who invented them. The Watt article and Electricity are seperate, so should these two be. Jachin 05:34, 31 August 2005 (UTC)

I've removed the merge tag. Tom Harrison (talk) 02:18, 4 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Painting

There is no mention in the article for masonite as a convenient and inexpensive medium for paintings, compared to stretched canvas.

[edit] Use in theatre

In my (amature) experience, Masonite isn't used for building walls onstage, because it is is too heavy and not stiff enough. The most common material is thin plywood, or sometimes canvas stretched over a wooden frame.

This is assuming that "walls" means flats, not something else. Nivlak (talk) 03:21, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
