Master Instruments Pty Ltd are an Australian company specialising in the production and distribution of batteries, battery packs, battery chargers, battery analyzers, hand held and panel mounted test equipment. The company also offers power products and accessories such as AC/DC power adaptors and power supplies, inverters, torches and lighting products, connector and cable parts as well as DC circuit protection devices.
The company has been in business for over 65 years employing approximately 80 staff in the head office in Sydney, major branch office in Melbourne and a new sales office in south east Queensland with close proximity to Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
The major part of the company's business is the distribution, design and assembly of battery packs as well as representing major battery brands in the region. Master Instruments are arguably the largest assembler of portable battery packs in Australasia and at this time the only accredited producer of lithium ion battery packs in the region. The company also produces battery packs made using battery types such as lithium polymer, nickel metal hydride, nickel cadmium, lead acid and primary cells such as alkaline, silver oxide and lithium.
Master Instruments are the key Oceania representatives for Sanyo Energy company,the world's largest manufacturer of portable rechargeable batteries with the company being primarily responsible for the distribution and sale of the revolutionary Sanyo Eneloop battery. Other key distribution is conducted by the company on behalf of major global brands such as Panasonic Industrial Batteries, Varta, Enersys (Cyclon & Genesis batteries), Cadex, Vencon, Ultralife, AC Delco battery Chargers, Vitrocell (Tekcell), Memory Protection Devices, Battery Fighter, Renata plus many more.
Master Instruments plays a major roll in the electronics industries of Australian, New Zealand and South Pacific regions as a leading supplier to OEM, Government, telco's, medical industries plus being a major supplier to distributors, wholesalers and retailers.
