Route 88, is a north-south state highway in Massachusetts. It starts as an offshoot of Interstate 195 just northeast of the Lakeside neighborhood in Westport close to the border of Fall River; Route 88 runs 13.5 miles south through the town and finally ending at John Reed Road and Horseneck Beach State Reservation in southern Westport, just after crossing the east branch of the Westport River.
For all of its length, the road has relatively limited access, with five stoplights at crossing roads and no homes or businesses located on the road. During the summer, Route 88 is the most-used route to and from Horseneck Beach.
In addition to the five roads that cross it, Route 88 crosses the following routes with offramp access:
- US-6 (also known locally as State Road), just southeast of the Lakeside neighborhood in Westport
- Route 177 (also known locally as Bulgarmarsh Road or American Legion Highway), just north of Giffords Corner (neighborhood) in Westport.
