Route 47 is a north-south state highway in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. The route starts in South Hadley at Route 116 and heads north, crossing Route 9 while traversing Hadley, intersecting Route 116 again along the Connecticut River in Sunderland, and ending at Route 63 in Montague.

Due to construction for replacement of the bridge over Bachelor Brook in South Hadley, detours will be in place from 2008-06-09 through at least November 2008.[1]
