Mass automobility

Mass automobility refers to the era known as the Suburban era during the 1950s and even into the 1960s. Mass automobility simply implies that automobiles became the dominant symbol of the time. More and more Americans owned their own vehicles. This made transportation and travel much more efficient and further increased the growth rates of suburban areas due to easier travel. The era of mass automobility changed the face of America.
