Mason Brayman (May 23, 1813February 27, 1895) was a general in the Union Army during the American Civil War and the Governor of the Idaho Territory from 1876 to 1878.

Brayman was born in Buffalo, New York. During the early part of the Civil War, he served as colonel of the 29th Illinois Volunteer Infantry Regiment before being promoted to command of a brigade of infantry.

He died in Kansas City, Missouri, where he is buried.
