To Whom It May Concern,
I'd like to post an entry for the Pearl Project, which I've already begun. I am not sure why it is flagged for notability and speedy deletion. Is it because I did not site references? I am still trying to do so, but looking for the guidelines to do it appropriately. Please help me in any way you can, whether on references and how to avoid speedy deletion.
Also, I understand classes are not permitted, but this should be a rare exception if not just flatly fall out of the traditional education guidelines all together.
Thank you for your help,

- Hi there. I copied what you posted there here because that was not the correct place. Answering to your question, the first draft of your article should already have references to reliable sources (sources known to be trustworthy, like BBC, CNN, New York Times, Nature, National Geographics, etc, etc, etc). If the initial article cannot demonstrate the notability of the subject, it will be speedy deleted.
- By the way, the next time you want to ask, feel free to drop by Wikipedia:Help desk. Also, please check Wikipedia:Your first article, which should give you some ideas about when a topic can be included and when not.
- If you want to contact a Wikipedia user, do so by going to the user talk page, clicking the + near the "edit this page" tab, and post your question. Cheers! -- ReyBrujo 04:09, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
