Rap artist from Oakland, California. Famous for his first smash single "Licka Sto" which was produced by Mark Kragen. His highly anticipated debut album will be released in the summer of 2008 under 2Fresh Entertainment.

Growing up in Oakland, CA D.Willz has always had a deep passion for all types and genres of music. When he was three years old he would play with records instead of toys, carry them around his house and scratch on his personal record player. At the age of eight his mother bought him a karaoke machine for Christmas. Recording song after song in his room, he drove his parents crazy. At the age of twelve he formed his first group, Big Bang Theory (BBT). With BBT he honed his craft writing lyrics, promoting, appearing in music videos, and performing alongside major artists. The highlight of his career with BBT came in 2003 with an appearance on Showtime at the Apollo. Later that year the group released their first independent LP entitled “Spread The Word.” After the split of BBT in 2005, D.Willz started his own company “2Fresh Entertainment” and chose to pursue a solo career . Working with his partner and producer Mark Kragen, D.Willz has created his own innovative sound. Known for his catchy repetitive hooks, he has gained recognition in the Bay Area headlining regional tours. His hit single “Licka Sto” stormed the airwaves up and down the coast of California. The single received heavy rotation in major markets such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sacramento and San Diego. “Licka Sto” was recently announced as the most requested song along the side of Soulja Boy’s “Crank Dat” on the Bay Area’s Major Urban radio station 106.1 KMEL. “Licka Sto” has been featured on over ten mixtapes, ranging from local to worldwide adding up to over 15,000 records sold. Independently he has sold thousands of ringtones and units of his singles “Licka Sto” and “Purpz” through online retail stores. He has also placed as a top independent artist on Myspace due his consistent traffic and high number of plays. The “Licka Sto” music video has received over 110,000 views on you tube over a two month period. The video has also created a buzz on the club scene being spun by vj’s nationwide. D.Willz is currently completing his debut album “Welcome 2 Willzville”. The album is a musical reflection of the different events that have partaken in his life. His music style bridges the gap between Rap, Pop and R&B. A mix of many styles, him and his partner/producer have created a new sound that finds humor in life and the different types of situations it presents. Focusing on simple topics with ear catching melodic hooks, D.Willz has the ability to make hits that appeal to a national audience of all ages, especially the kids. Priding himself on the quality of his music, respect for others and charisma has earned him thousands of fans and a huge following. D.Willz is a rising star and local phenomenon who will not follow in the footsteps of others but create his own path to the top of the music industry.
