I am saddened to read of Marvin's death in Sept.07. I worked with him briefly back in 1974 at JPL, and did a paper with him and others there on coded MFSK signalling, one tiny corner of his vast contributions to deep-space communications. Dicklyon 21:06, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
