[edit] considered underpowered?

any references for this? links to reviews (or citations of paper based publications), etc? or is it just the opinion of the writer?

(from a former owner of a different 850kg, 45hp car which was sprightly enough on congested city roads and indian type rural highways, and could hit over 140kmh on freeway type roads with a little coaxing)

now 30-ish hp, as in the smaller marutis, that would be really pushing it in terms of acceptable performance at that weight...
