The A7 tag doesn't really apply, as his importance is asserted in numerous ways: editor-in-chief of Plant Physiology (journal), various positions with other journals, and academic positions that probably meet the propsed Wikipedia:Notability (academics). The only problem is that this looks like it might be a copyvio from Who's Who or something. Ardric47 23:10, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
