Wrong!!!

In the Byzantine Rite. Eastern Catholics use the same ritual. The title MUST be changed. - Waelsch 01:57, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

I have removed the sentence about divorce being considered an embarrassment to the families of the former spouses. While this may be true in some places, it is a social and cultural phenomenon and not in keeping with an Orthodox view. Instead, Orthodox rites encourage penitence and restoration rather than the sort of social stigma that the comment described. Such a comment would perhaps be better placed in an article about various cultural views on divorce. --Bertelin 19:04, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
