Mark Hyman is truly a disgrace to the profession of journalism. He attack the "mainstream media" of being biased but he himself doesn't make any attempt to be fair. August 23, 2005 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.26.247.222 (talkcontribs)

I don't think he claims to be fair. Also, I don't believe that the article here is 'neutral' so someone should fix it. 10 Apr 06. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.185.182.49 (talk • contribs) April 11, 2006

[edit] POV-check

Although I don't agree with Mr. Hyman's bias, I do believe that this article needs to be cleaned up to conform to Wikipedia's NPOV policy. Examples in the article include subjectively labelling his performance as "poor journalism", accusations of "false claims" where simply stating them as "claims" would be preferable, and references to "true" studies (statistics can not verify truthfulness, only describe possible trends). -- Imesj 15:08, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

It'll be very difficult to remove POV as he makes Rush Limbaugh seem liberal. 68.60.93.83 18:07, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Agree on the POV issue. I did some clean up to make the article more balanced. Using Media Matters as a citiation is ridiculous in this case as they are clearly opposed to Hyman and should not serve as a source of information for this content. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.240.236.9 (talkcontribs) August 2006

I've only one question for the person responsible for this article: does he like it when you swallow? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.98.191.18 (talk • contribs) November 2006

[edit] All links/sources are biased links

This article needs to be fixed. I find it interesting people here are accusing Hyman of bias when the Wikipedia article about him cites links that are entirely biased themselves. Try removing the beam from your own eyes before focusing on the splinter in Hyman's. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.153.122.247 (talk • contribs) July 6, 2007

[edit] Two mentions of Hyman's family

Hyman's family and the fact that he has four kids is mentioned twice in this article. I'll delete one, just wanted to let everyone else know. Eli H 05:45, 21 July 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Squeekyzebra (talk • contribs)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Mark-Hyman-The-Point.jpg

Image:Mark-Hyman-The-Point.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
