IMO this reeks of an underling's effort to suck up to his boss, bcz i would expect an experienced scholar/editor to show a bit more diligent proofreading & stylistics in an autobio. Probably someone with more grasp of the field than i can do a better job than i dare attempt, at getting to NPoV. But i don't doubt his notability, and i'm glad we've got the article started.
