[edit] Less on the musical

There seriously needs to be much less on the musical in this article, much more on the book. Don't get me wrong, the musical is great, but the article makes it feel almost like the novel is some vague background material for the musical.

[edit] Most Important?

Perhaps the most important relationship in the story of Les Miserables is that of Marius and Cosette.

Is this just the opinion of one Wikieditor, or can we have a citation for this? Neither Marius, nor Cosette are generally considered the protagonist of the novel, so I suspect this interpretation is questionable at the least. Gavroche42 17:53, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Novel?

This article needs to refer to Marius's character in Hugo's novel, not just the musical.

No arguments from me. I'd replace 'not just' with 'instead of' but I know I'd be overruled. Maybe after I finish writing the entries for Valjean and the Friends of the ABC I'll look at revising this. Of course, unless someone else beats me to it. Gavroche42 21:07, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
