Talk:Marist F.C.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Info conflict and importance of article
The article states this is the top club currently but that they were eliminated in the first round. How can they be the top club? Also, what is a club? Is this like a loose association of teams? It would be one thing to include this article if they had a string of championships, noteworthy players or other defining facts but none is presented in the article.
- I added some references which indicate that Marist F.C. won the 2006 Solomon Islands championship, which in turn qualified it for the 2006 OFC club championship where it was knocked out in the opening round. I believe that this club is noteworthy since it is a reigning domestic champion and competes in a Confederation's club championship. Best regards. Jogurney 04:01, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
