I believe that Cole did much of his work at MBL, but the Hodgkin and Huxley did their work at Plymouth in england. I'll check.

Oh yeah! How can you even mention the culture of the MBL without mentioning "The Kidd"? ;-)

I'll wager that Meselson and Stahl actually met at The Kidd.

I have replaced the previous entry on the MBL with a more complete account of the laboratory and its history. This was written at the MBL. Discussion and contributions are encouraged! Dianakenney 13:53, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
