In the biography section, it says that Benes played violin and piano "himself." Does that mean he taught himself how to play those instruments (which is noteworthy), or just that he played them by himself (i.e., not in an ensemble), which is not noteworthy, and thus "himself" should be deleted? 86.133.102.24 12:45, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

It was originally paired by the fact that his father was a music teacher, subsequently deleted, so it made sense in that context; I find it difficult to phrase the sentence though: "His parents were both teachers, and father in particular a music teacher,...".
