[edit] Partisan events

I deleted some material alleging that she has been critized for participating in partisan events because there was no sourcing for this allegation and this vague allegation does not have much meaning unless it is clear who criticized her and why.

[edit] Article 8 Alliance

I think it is a good idea for the following section of the article to be removed:

"A group named the Article 8 Alliance has been formed to seek the ouster of all four justices that concurred in that decision. As there is no recall process under Massachusetts law, and there is little support for this in the Massachusetts legislature, it is unlikely that any of the justices targeted by the Article 8 Alliance will be ousted."

Given that this "Article 8 Alliance" has such little support or notability, and since the movement seems not to have represented any significant or substantial portion of the Massachusetts electorate, it seems to me an unnecessary intrusion of POV. Unless there is objection on this page, I'll remove it. Thepinterpause 20:36, 25 June 2006

[edit] Firsts?

Is she the first naturalized citizen (I assume) to serve on a state supreme court? How about Chief Justice? -- 17:22, 1 January 2007 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.96.191.70 (talk • contribs)
