The Maryland gubernatorial election of 2010 will be held on November 2, 2010.[1] It will include election of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Maryland. Incumbent Governor Martin O'Malley and Lieutenant Governor Anthony G. Brown, both Democrats, will be eligible to run for a second term in office.[2]
A number of possible Republican challengers have been mentioned, including former Governor Robert Ehrlich and former Lieutenant Governor Michael S. Steele.[3]
