Maryan Linux is a Linux distribution for desktop computers based on Ubuntu and compatible with it. It uses the repositories from Canonical Ltd. The default desktop environment used for Maryan Linux is Enlightenment 17 instead of GNOME, KDE or Xfce. Maryan Linux consists of many GTK+ applications by default instead of Enlightenment applications.

Maryan Linux is designed to be the distro with good ‘Out of the Box’ experience.
