Mary O'Donoghue

Mary O'Donoghue, poet and fiction writer, was born in 1975 and grew up in Co. Clare, Ireland. Her first poetry collection Tulle was published in 2001; her second collection Among These Winters appeared from Dedalus Press in 2007. Her poems have appeared widely in Irish and international journals and anthologies, including The New Irish Poets (Bloodaxe, 2004). Her short stories have been published in The Dublin Review, The Recorder, AGNI, Salamander, Literary Imagination, and elsewhere. Her awards include Hennessy/Sunday Tribune New Irish Writer and a writer’s bursary from Massachusetts Cultural Council. She is an assistant professor of English at Babson College, Massachusetts, and she lives in Boston.
