The Maroon-chested Ground-dove (Claravis mondetoura) is a species of bird in the Columbidae family. It is found in Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela.
Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montanes.
