[edit] Television

She has starred in many Greek television series, but is best known for her role on Erotas in which she has been made a core character since 2006, where she plays the controversial role of Nadia, who has married Stefanos, a man over 10 years her senior. When questioned on the role, Maro simply said, "It doesn't make me uncomfortable, Stefanos is great to work with."

[edit] Modelling

In December 2006, she gave an exclusive interview with Maxim, which she later stated had delayed doing for over 5 years because she is used to modelling clothing in non-erotic poses, before she gave up modelling in 2000.

[edit] Controversy

Many members of the public have noticed Maro's excessive botox, and doctors worry that her face may be permanently paralysed unless she stops using it.
