Mark Anthony Moran, (born 1964, Mark Anthony John Cole) [1] was an Australian criminal from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Moran, a member of the infamous Moran family, notable for its involvement in the illegal drug trade and the Melbourne gangland killings, was murdered on June 15, 2000 just after 8.00pm, aged 36. His stepfather was criminal Lewis Moran and his half-brother was drug trafficker Jason Moran, both also murdered.
Mark Moran was the son of Judy Moran and Leslie "Johnny" Cole, who was shot dead in Sydney on November 10, 1982 during the Sydney Gang Wars while working for Crime Boss Frederick Paddeles Anderson [2].
