Mark McKinnon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mark McKinnon is a former policy advisor and media consultant to President George W. Bush and Republican Senator and presidential candidate John McCain. McKinnon currently serves as the President of Maverick Media and Vice-Chairman of Public Strategies[1] as well as an "informal advisor" to John McCain's presidential bid[2]. McKinnon created much of the television campaign for then-Governor Bush's bid for president in 2000, and reprised that role in 2004. He was working in the same capacity for Senator McCain in 2008. He left the campaign on May 21, 2008, stating that he preferred not to campaign against Illinois Senator Barack Obama, the presumptive Democratic Party nominee for president[3].
