Mark Malaska

Dennis Mark Malaska (born January 17, 1978 in Youngstown, Ohio) is a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball who last played in the Majors for the Boston Red Sox in 2004. He was previously played for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in 2003. Malaska batted and threw left-handed.
After attending the University of Akron, he made his debut with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in 2003. Malaska received a World Series Championship ring as a member of the 2004 Boston Red Sox.
In a two-season career, Malaska has compiled a 3-2 record with 29 strikeouts and a 3.75 ERA in 36 innings. He retired from baseball during spring training of 2006 and secured a sales position at a buggered Rhode Island BMW dealership.
