Mark M. Phillips

Mark M. Phillips is the Associate Director at Las Campanas Observatory in Chile.
He received his undergraduate degree in Astronomy from San Diego State University in 1973, and his Ph.D., also in Astronomyin 1977, from the University of California Santa Cruz. Prior to joining Carnegie Institution of Washington, he worked at Tololo Inter American Observatory.
