Mark Ian Cooper was born 19 July 1969 in Wolverhampton, England, the son of architect Terence Cooper. He is an actor and teacher, and has been working professionally in theatre since 1989. He is a full member of British Actors' Equity.
Cooper is currently the Head of the Performing Arts Department of the South West Academy of Dramatic Arts, Filton College, Bristol, UK.
