Marion S. Barber, Jr. (born December 6, 1959 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) is a former American football running back for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He played for the Jets from 1982-1988. He attended the University of Minnesota. He is the father of current Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl running back Marion Barber III and Houston Texans defensive back Dominique Barber.
