Mario Abbate (born in Naples, August 10, 1927 – died August 6, 1981) was an Italian singer, famous as an exponent of Neapolitan songs. In the 1950s and 1960s he appeared in three movies, one directed by Dino Risi, Operazione San Gennaro. He died at the age of 53.
