Mariel Rodriguez (born Maria Erlinda Termulo on August 10, 1984) is a Filipina young actress, commercial model and endorser, and TV host. She started as a model for Clean and Clear facial cleanser. The GMA Network later discovered her and she was made host of Extra Challenge, despite not having the best English speaking skills.[citation needed] Rodriguez later transferred to the ABS-CBN Network, and was made one of the hosts of Pinoy Big Brother.

Mariel Rodriguez is also currently one of the hosts of Wowowee with Valerie Concepcion and Pokwang.
