Marianna Komlos (September 3, 1969 – September 26, 2004) was an Canadian bodybuilder, fitness model, professional wrestler and valet. Perhaps best known for her stint in World Wrestling Entertainment in 1999 as Marianna.

[edit] Bodybuilding career
Before she started bodybuilding, Komlos weighed as much as 197 lb. Marianna Komlos started competing in provincial contests in 1993, and eventually won the middleweight class at the British Columbia Championships in 1997. Jerry Kindela, editor-in-chief of Flex, said, "Marianna's one of the most beautiful bodybuilders I've ever seen." (Wennerstrom, 2004)
Komlos appeared on the covers of many fitness magazines including Muscle & Fitness (September, 1997), Flex (November, 1997), Women's Physique World (December, 1997), and Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness.

After several months of the teaser commercials, the May 31, 1999 episode of RAW saw Marianna make her primetime debut as Mrs. Cleavage with Harry 'Beaver' Cleavage - formerly Mosh of the Headbangers. For most of the match Christian had the upper hand. At one point Beaver jumped up and down on Christian's back with his throat over the middle rope and then Mrs. Cleavage scolded him while he tried to regain his breath. Beaver was in real trouble until Michael Hayes and The Hardy Boyz came out while Mrs. Cleavage distracted the ref, Michael hit Christian with his walking stick and Beaver got the pinfall.
A couple weeks later, Mrs. Cleavage is no more. During an interview between Michael Cole and Chaz (Beaver Cleavage) he stated that he and his girlfriend Marianna had decided that he should do his own thing and be himself in the WWF. So her name is now Marianna. Later on in the evening Chaz met with Meat/PMS for a match. During the match Terri Runnels distracted the ref so that Jacqueline could get a cheap shot in on Chaz. This didn't set to well with Marianna who jumped up on the ring apron and confronted Terri. Mutual shoving and pushing began between the two and when Marianna got tired of it she shoved Terri off the apron and onto her butt on the floor.
On the August 30 1999 edition of RAW As Meat and Terri were heading down to ringside The Rock was coming up the ramp to the backstage area. Terri stopped to flirt with The Rock only to have him blow her off. As she continued towards the ring you could clearly see that Meat was not a happy camper about her flirting with another man. As they were standing in the ring the Titantron began showing a scene from GTV. There was Meat kissing with what appeared to be Terri, but upon closer inspection it clearly was Marianna. As Terri confronted Meat about this and started slapping him Chaz came charging out and attacked Meat with Marianna a distance behind. Chaz got Meat on the mat and was pounding on him when Marianna finally got into the ring and tried to pull him off. Terri attacked Marianna.
Two weeks later on SmackDown, During an interview with Lillian Garcia Chaz stated that it was time for Marianna and him to each go their own ways and that he had no hard feelings towards her. Then moments later, while wrestling Droz, Marianna came out to ringside to apparently to plead with him to take her back. Forgetting about his opponent Chaz began talking with Marianna until Droz turned him around and power-bombed him. It appeared that it was Marianna's intention to deliberately cost him the match as she immediately left for the dressing room after he was pinned.
On the September 13, 1999 edition of RAW, Chaz had a match against the Godfather. It was a pretty even match until Marianna came out. She stood on the floor by the ring and pulled down her sunglasses revealing a big black eye. Chaz asked her what happened and all Marianna kept saying was "Why Chaz, Why?" The Godfather took one look and decided that Chaz had done it to her and he proceeded to attack him and win the match. That same week on SmackDown, Marianna came down to ringside durning Chaz's match and had him put under arrest.
A month later, While Chaz was busy in a match with Steve Blackman Marianna and 3 police officers arrived at ringside. She was still sporting the black eye she received more than 3 weeks ago. Just as the officers were getting in the ring to escort Chaz out Glenn Ruth, Chaz's old partner from the Headbanger's came out with a piece of interesting GTV video for everyone to watch, the video showed Marianna talking to a girlfriend about her best 'black eye' yet as she was applying make up to make it look like she had a black eye. Once the police saw the video they released Chaz from the handcuffs and Marianna was arrested instead. A few weeks later, Komlos was released from the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

She married Mixed Martial Artist and Stunt Performer Paul Lazenby in 2003.[1]

Komlos died on September 26, 2004 from breast cancer. She was 35.

I also met and married former WWE diva Marianna Komlos, although we would be together for barely a year before breast cancer and medical malpractice claimed her life on September 26, 2004.
