Maria Micsa

Born March 31 1953[1], Romanian athlete Maria Micsa was the youngest member[2] of the 4-woman team that won the Bronze medal in Women's Coxed Quadruple Sculls at the 1976 Summer Olympics.[3]

She had earlier been on the 1972 team that won the World Rowing Championships in Brandenburg, and placed second the following year in Moscow.[4]

Two weeks after the Olympics, Micsa won a championship in Oneşti.[5]
