Maria Leopoldine of Austria

Maria Leopoldine (April 6, 1632, Innsbruck – August 7, 1649) was a daughter of Leopold V, Archduke of Austria and Claudia de' Medici and empress consort of Ferdinand III, Holy Roman Emperor. On 2 July 1648 in Linz, she married Ferdinand. She bore him one child, Karl Josef of Austria (7 August 1649), who died in his mid-teens. Maria Leopoldine died in childbirth 7 August 1649, and is buried in the Capuchin monastery in Vienna.
