Camerin, currently living in Venezia, Italy, is a professional tennis player for Italy. She has a very high ranking in doubles and is also a singles player.

As of 2007, Camerin has reached one singles final in Portoroz, Slovenia, where she lost to Tamira Paszek by the score of 7–5,6–1. At the 2007 US Open she gave Serena Williams a tough match but eventually lost 7–5,6–2.
