Marestail is a vernacular name of several vascular plants, including
- an annual weed, Conyza canadensis, also known as horseweed and Canadian fleabane
- a fern ally, Equisetum, also known as horsetail and pipeweed
- an aquatic flowering plant, Hippuris
Marestail is also a type of cirrus cloud formation.
Several waterfalls around the world are called the Mare's Tail. They include
- Mare's Tail, on the Snaid Burn near Loch Lomond.
- Mare's Tail, on Hungry Hill in Ireland.
