Marcus J. Blatter (b. 1954 - ) was a Hungarian statesman that spent most of his career rebuilding post-Soviet Hungary.

Marcus J. Blatter was born May 29, 1954, one of two sons in a six-member family. He completed his early schooling in America but returned to Budapest in the mid 1990s after the fall of the Soviet Union. Shortly after Blatter moved to Hungary, he met and married Helga Phinkoff.

Blatter quickly found favor in the political life with his strong conservative values but willingness to change with time. He was rarely challenged in elections for his seat in the house and remained a member for over eight years. During his political life Blatter was a part of numerous initiatives that brought radical changes to the Hungarian government. [1] [2]

Blatter retired from the public scene shortly after the turn of the century. He now resides back in the United States outside of San Francisco in the residential suburb of Concord.
