Marc Laird (born 23 January 1986 in Edinburgh) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Millwall.

Marc Laird is a Scottish Professional Footballer player who plays for Millwall. He previously played for Manchester City with brief loan spells at Northampton Town (2006–07 season) and Port Vale (2007–08 season). Laird scored his first league goal while on loan at Port Vale on Boxing Day 2007 when he netted a 30 yarder against Walsall.
Laird scored his first goal for the Manchester City first team in a 4–0 pre-season friendly victory against Carlstad United. After coming on as a 70th minute sub, Laird struck the fourth and final goal in the 78th minute. [1]
On 23 February 2008, Marc Laird scored his first goal for Millwall in the 44th minute of their 3–0 home win over Port Vale
