Marama Vahirua (born May 12, 1980 in Papeete) is a French football forward, currently playing for French team FC Lorient. He is cousin to former French international Pascal Vahirua.
He started his career at the famed youth academy of FC Nantes. He then went to OGC Nice in August 2004, where he enjoyed two spectacular seasons, being reconverted to attacking midfielder in the process. After falling out with coach Frédéric Antonetti, he would leave the club in the Summer of 2007, joining fellow Ligue 1 FC Lorient.
He is a former France U-21 international, being given his chance by current A-team coach Raymond Domenech.
