Population of the Town and Village of Marcellus, New York from 1790 to 2005. The data for this graph was primarily from http://www.rootsweb.com/%7Enyononda/MARCELLU/CensusStatistics.html, with 2001-2004 from U.S. Census Estimates. The graph was created using Microsoft Excel and cropped and converted to png format using Adobe Photoshop.
The rapid decline between 1825 and 1830 was due to both a decrease in the area of the town and the general population shift westward.
