Ironically, "Delagoa Bay" has 10x the Google hits of "Maputo Bay", even though the latter is now the official name. Stan 06:49, 13 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Of course, Delagoa had 200 years of history when it changed the name to Maputo, in 1975.--Rui Silva 12:59, 14 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Rotate the picture

Could someone rotate the image of Maputo bay 270 degrees, since its north is now facing east. Thanks--Rui Silva 12:59, 14 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Wording in history section

The phrase "Zulu hordes" sounds unencyclopedic. Also, was it the Zulu, the Swazi, or another Bantu tribe which prevented the colonists from expanding into the interior? Vdrj2 01:37, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
