Talk:Mapping cone (homological algebra)/Comments

I rate this article "Start" class essentially because although the definition is complete and accurate, I don't really know if it could be put more in context with other elements of homological algebra. As usual, historical comments would be nice. I've given one connection with t-structures, but the material already in the article is more or less off the top of my head. The section on mapping cylinder is a stub and I don't know if it should be expanded or split off, but currently it contributes only a gap. Ryan Reich 00:34, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
