English: A map displaying today's Unitary states.

Comments:

  • The Kingdom of the Netherlands is a federation but its three parts are unitary states. Therefore they are coloured in on both maps.
  • Somalia is a nominal federation, but because of the lack of a government that controls most of its claimed territory, this is not how it operates.
