[edit] AfD nomination of Mina-Jacqueline Au

I have nominated Mina-Jacqueline Au, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mina-Jacqueline Au. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. -- Qaddosh|talk|contribs 03:29, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.
Hagiographical language such as "visionary", "crème de le crème", "Combined, these attributes uniquely position her at the center of the rapidly evolving international luxury market" (in reference to her speaking four languages), "Mina truly understands the modern intricacies of e-tail and luxury", and "innate business sense" are utterly inappropriate for an encyclopedia. I have removed all such language [1], which has undoubtedly made some of the sentences flow worse, but you write like a publicity agent being paid to write text about a client and so you should not be surprised when this kind of writing, which flagrantly violates our neutral point of view policy, is aggressively removed. cab (talk) 08:22, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
