[edit] Manticore/The Manticore?

Okay, this has been bugging me for quite some time now. Although I know the character's codename is Manticore, in prose should that be written as "Manticore ate..." or "The Manticore ate..."? Hellspawn 08:53, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

`Manticore ate'. `The manticore ate' would be indicating that a specific manticore was doing the eating, rather than the figure named Manticore. It may be clearer if you think of it as `The Boogiepop appeared' or `The Nagi rode her bike' ;) If I have accidentally written The Manticore, or anything similar (eg The Scarecrow, The Imaginator, etc), it is wrong, so please correct it.
