[edit] Images
Does anyone know of any free images that could be used in the article, or have any that could be licensed for use? I'd really appreciate it, as I think images would spruce up this article a ton. Please leave a note here or on my talk page. Thanks! GlassCobra (talk • contribs) 23:55, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] GA review
The article is very well written and sourced. I have no issues with most of the prose. The history section is quite interesting. The 'features' section does look a little too much like a hotel advertisement or brochure, and could be improved to be a bit more encyclopedic. Although it does seem reasonably well-sourced, with information from the NYT article and other sources, in addition to the hotel website, so that's a plus. Reference 15 doesn't follow the guidelines of WP:RS, as it goes to a blog posts (blogs are generally considered unacceptable as reliable sources, since there is no editorial control -- any idiot can write and publish a "blog").
The main issue is with the 'no free image' placeholder for the top of the infobox needs to be removed prior to GA status. Acceptable solutions would be **ideally** to find a suitable GFDL image of the hotel for the infobox. If this is not possible presently, then remove the 'no free image' placeholder and go with the infobox with no image. It would also be good to have some images of the interior in other sections of the article as well, but I could promote this to GA without them.

- Although the image does look like it came from a minor hurricane or storm, it is freely licensed, so is acceptable at the minimum level for GA status. I still wouldn't stop trying to acquire a better image, and images of the interior for some of the subsequent sections couldn't hurt, either. An image of the MacArthur Suite would be great! Cheers!
