I restored this article to "Manhole." I, too, support society's use of gender-neutral language, but Wikipedia uses the most common name for a subject, not the name that we wish was most common (ie maintenence hole). youngamerican (ahoy hoy) 01:31, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

I agree, a manhole is universally known as a manhole. Trumpy 12:01, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
